The primary curriculum of Vivekananda Educational Trust (VET) focuses on a holistic, value-based education inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. It aims to develop the child’s intellectual, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions in a balanced manner.

For Grades 1-2

  • Languages: Tamil, English, Hindi
  • Maths and Environmental Science, ICT

For Grades 3-5

  • Languages: Tamil, English, Hindi, Samskritham
  • Maths , Science and Social Studies, ICT

Learning Approach:

We follow the CBSE approach providing interactive and experiential learning experiences that are continuously assessed to foster holistic development in our students.

Inquiry-based

Inquiry-based learning encourages curiosity through observation, hands-on exploration, and playful engagement. This approach fosters a child’s natural inquisitiveness by promoting discovery through active observation, experimentation, and imaginative play. Inquiry-based activities stimulate curiosity and critical thinking by integrating observation, interactive experiences, and exploratory play.

Project Based Learning

We believe that learning should be meaningful, active, and connected to the real world. Our Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach empowers students—right from the primary grades—to explore, investigate, and creatively solve problems through structured, hands-on projects.
